He writes, “It is with great sadness and excitement that I am leaving the board of the Woods Street Green Team. However, I hope to continue contributing, by providing a foreign experience to sustainable efforts around the world as I serve in the Peace Corps in Rwanda.”

One of the main sustainable highlights of Rwanda has been a plastic bag ban which has helped it be placed on the Travel Channel’s eco-friendly places to visit and its capital has been noted as one of the cleanliest African cities. Rwanda has three national parks, Akagera National Park, Volcanoes National Park, and Nyungwe National Park, which are the home of mountain gorillas – a protected animal species.
